Default Just picked up a Valkryie from Ebay!

It's for my dad, but I did the bidding. Looks pretty damn sharp....
He said the saddle bags are like $800 alone....

1999 Honda Valkryie w/ 26k on the odometer:

Going to cost $7,500. I get a free months of rent for winning it for him

I'm getting my first bike this week. He already has a 79 Suzuki (600 I believe). He'll probably pick it up this weekend. I'll post my own pics and delete the ones from the auction when brought home.

You don't have to pay for the bike, right? $7500 seems a lot for a free month's rent!

How did the transaction go? I've had a few bad ones lately, so I've sworn off eBay (but it's still so tempting!). Good luck!

And damn that thing looks HUGE!

I just e-mailed the lady to either call my father here at the house or we'll call her. She's located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida so we'll be picking it up in person with a truck. I told my father that we need to talk to her before we send ANY money. I may even look into that insurance thing with paypal just to be safe. Probably rip me a new a$$ with the fee though. My father is really excited and I bet he'll be down there this weekend to pick it up. I may even call out of work to go since I could use a little vacation and never been to that part of Florida. It was given to the lady in a will and just too big and too much power for her is what she stated. I'll keep you all updated. Hell, maybe I can find where she lives and have a HT'er from the area stop by and take a look
