yep, finally happened to me. woke up this morning only to find my lil crx was missing. called the cops just hoping it was just towed for some reason but no. my rex was STOLEN!
filed the report around 10:30am 01.13.2003. not exactly a happy new year. hope you guys can be on the lookout.
it's a 1988 crx white.
primered grey rear spoiler.
primered white z3 fenders.
2 black steelies in front. crx si stock rims in the back.
plate# 3RIF810

hope you guys help me out. i still have no word from the police.
I live in San Leandro, CA but the car could be anywhere now. Not much to look at but i hope it still looks like this. here's a pic of my rex.


anyway thanks for the lookout guys. hope it's still in one piece cause what the hell would they want with this anyway?

thanks for the concern and the lookout guys. well nothin much done to it exterior wise, bought the car just like that. inside i have a alpine deck, 2 PhoenixGold XS amps. 1 PhoenixGold XMAX10, line drivers and capacitor and a few more audio stuff. under the hood is a SOHC ZC engine, dc headers, and AEM SRI. also just lowered the rex on Tanabes about 2 wks ago.

i was underway to hitting the yards for some stock fenders then get a paintjob, slap on the rims i have sittin in my friend's garage and changing the tranny to an Si. setup was HF tranny/ZC motor, go figure. just financially impossible to get a snail.
anyway sorry I couldn't post sooner, i'm only allowed 5 posts per 24 hour period. well still no news from the popos. it's already been 41 hours since reported.

do you have a gun? if so persue the car yourself, the "popos" (lol) aren't going to do much as far as looking for it. but if they stumble upon it i'm sure they will call you. good luck with the hunt, and i hope you had insurance.

car recovered today - 01.15.04. looked terrible, luckily not as bad as i imagined. they took my aem intake, my whole Phoenix Gold system, the cargo cover, they tried to rip off the front bumper but dumbasses probably don't know how, cut my exhaust system after the cut but they didn't take it. and guess what else they took, them gotdamn crusty *** z3 fenders. i don't know if i should thank them for that. other than that it's still rolling.
well i'm more angry than when it was gone. anyway if anybody got some fenders lying around and possibly donate to this poor rex, i'd very much appreciate it. maybe an intake also but i guess there's nothin else i can do.

I don't know what i'd do if i lost mine again... but if you do get it back... heres a little advice... put like 3 kill switches in it in different spots... by the time they find the first one they will be to confused to even go on looking... lol... gets um everytime..................peace

I live in Cali, no civic or rex is safe here, mine was stolen twice in three months, but i was lucky, i got it back with the radio gone both times.....i hope you find your rex, and from now on rig a toggle switch to the fuel line or something like that, that way they can't get too far. good luck
