Default Clutch for ZC?

Hi, Ok im putting a new clutch in my zc I am using the zc transmission. For which car/engine should I buy a clutch? and would I benefit from switching in the input shaft from my SI tranny(different splines, and im doing a final drive swap anyway) So basically which clutches bolt to the flywheel? and which input shaft should I use?

Default Re: Clutch for ZC?

Use the clutch from the Si of the same year. So if you have an 88 ZC tranny get the 88 Si clutch. As far as imput shafts the 88 had 21 splines and 89-91 had 20. You have more options with the 21 as the 90-91 had the biggest clutch and flywheel.
