Default will B series vtec distributor work on B series NON vtec

i have b18b and teh dist is bunk so i got a spare b16 dist. will it work or no

It will be the same as if you put a non-vtec dizzy on a vtec head. It will work, but not all the holes/bolts will line up.

you can take out all the inside's and transfer them i had to do it all the inside's are the same but the housings are different

yes this is very true...check and see whether its the ignitor, coil, or bearing etc..just incase u can salvage some of the spare parts from the old dizzy for a rebuild in the future maybe..
