Well, finished my second day at Firebird. Only did runs today cause my tires got pretty wasted; about as wasted as a college student in Mexico for spring break.

Anyways, I did pretty well; once I get an extra set of rims and some nice Yok's I should do even better. Here are some pics of what happened to my tires:

 

Bridgestones RE-010s don't like rough track surfaces - mine chunked too.

 

It was hot as hell out there too. By the end of our race the Hoosier's were completely gone, like driving on slicks in the rain. Still managed to win PCTCC though

It was funny, but now that I have had a couple beers it's even funnier

Anyone else here out at Firebird? I had a lot of fun; can't wait to go again!

 

I was doing some racing too, but it's just a little easier on the budget. I was out racing the R/C car this weekend.

 

How about Speedworld on Wednesday? I finally have one off and I'll be checking it out. My friend Mark always has faster runs at Speedworld than Firebird. Coincidence?
