Ok heres the deal when I say... brake hard or let off the clutch hard and quick I hear this loud POP up front I'm thinking axle but I wanna be sure any ideas? the car has 112k miles. Thanks

Have you looked up under the car? A popping sound can be lots of things. In order to diagnose exactly whats wrong you will have to at least narrow it down somewhat. Good luck!!

 

things to look at:
balljoints (upper and lower)
engine mounts
tension/compression rods
control arm bushings

 

Ball joints look good so do control arm bushings....ill check the engine mounts next im stumped what and where are the tension/compression rods never heard that phrase before (go easy im 16 dont know too much yet )

 

T/C rods also known as radius rods. they go from your lca to the subframe and keep the lca from moving fore and aft.

 

had the same noise it was the upper ball joints. see if you can wiggle them forward and back if they have any play replace them.
