i took out and replaced the exhaust cam and have the shitty skunk sprockets. i lined the exhaust and intake cam to TDC on the number one piston with he hole on the cams and cam journal. had the crank on TDC as well from what i recall.

the holes on the cams were maybe 2/16 of an inch off from the cam journal hole at the most.

started up the car and heard the alternator belt squeeking, so i adjusted that and the squeeking stopped temporarily then after turning off the ignition the car won't start or it would start and stall immediately.

i don't believe it is the alternator or starter because both cranks but the engine just won't turn over. HELP!!.

Perhaps the alt. harness came loose when you were tensioning the belt. Double check the timing too.
