Default Threat left on car. Any advice?

My car was recently stolen out of my dorm parking lot. I have just purchased a new car. I keep it in sight of my bedroom at all times and check on it when im in my room every half hour or less out of paranoia. My roommates and fellow hallmates have been ragging on me about how I don't want to leave the parking lot because I don't want to come back and park in the rear of the lot where I left my car when it was stolen.
Anyway..this afternoon I saw what looked like some kind of ticket or something on my car so I planned to go look at it when I had time. So I get out there and its not a ticket, its a note that says "YOUR CAR IS MINE YOU ******!..just wait!."
Now I have not had a chance to ask my roommates or a few other friends whether or not they made the note, but i'm unfortunately doubtful it was them. I am wondering if anyone has any advice for me on what to do about this. I have the note, my car has various security devices on it and is awaiting more...but I was thinking something along the lines of some kind of action like taking it to the cops maybe, or parking security or some school office or something like that. All help is greatly appreciated as well as comments. Thanks a lot.

My suggestion would be to post this in the general discussion forum, not the audio forum.

TRUE!!

On a serious note, I would notify either the campus police or the real police. Usually if you file a complaint/report, the cops should patrol the area a little bit more.

Put a picture of your dorm room window with a gun propped up, pointing at your car.

On the picture, write: Alarm goes off = Gun goes off, Make the right decision...******.

But, seriously, is your car fixed up? If not, i wouldn't worry about it.

i think u should get an alarm and use autolock. u should leave ur car where it is, then get into another friends car and watch your car. wait till some muhfuker comes up to it and does dumb ****. calmly get out, stand near the back of your car, and have your homeboi stand near the front. then charge toward him n kicc his azz... with a bat and a chair.. wwf/wwe style. ... but really... seriously, u should beat the persons *** =D

come on you go to college. Go into the chem lab. Make some nitro. Mix it with sawdust. Make a plug of it. Put some gunpowder on the tip as a primer. Go to a hobby shop and get igniters for model rockets. plant this all right on the gas tank with a string circuit break. He pulls out, circuit complete, waco in car form.

At least thats what i would do. Then again i am a vindictive mother ******.
