Clifford Intelliguard 9000 Keypad Issues
I have had a Clifford Intelliguard 9000 system in my car for about 9 months and I have always used the Blackjax feature. Sometimes, when I enter my pin number after starting the car, the code would not go through but it would after I do it a second time. Just last week, I turned the ignition, entered the code, and it didn't go through. I tried again...still didn't go through. I then entered the code like 25 times and it still didn't go through. Finally, I got out of my car, armed and disarmed the alarm a couple of times, started the ignition, and entered the code...it worked this time. Is there something wrong with my keypad or are Clifford keypads simply not that great? If you have a Clifford Intelliguard or Avantguard alarm, please respond. Thanks!
when u arm and unarm the car, does it make a starge noise, it means ur remote battery is almost out, have u changed that, maby your entering your code wrong, i do it sometimes, mine is very long 18 degits, no one will ever get it.
I would rehook the alarm back to the cliffnet wizzard and change the code, might help and replace the battery in the remote.

The alarm sound is fine. The battery in the remote is fine too. The "problem" is with the keypad. I'm thinking that there may not even be a problem. Maybe Clifford keypads just aren't good. I don't really want to say how many digits my code is, but simply put, I would never enter my code wrong.
Is there anybody here who uses Blackjax regularly? Have you ever been in a situation when the code just wouldn't work?
