I already know the answer to this question i think but i just want everyone to tell me how big of an idiot i am for passing on this car.

Car is a CRX. 90-91 DX. Has a ugly maaco paint job (light blue over the factory blue) with bondo over the rust. Fart can, altezzas, um... black corner lights. Burns a little bit of oil. Guy offered it to me for $300 because he doesn't want to waste his time trying to get more for it. I really want it, but i have 2 cars already (crx and gsx which is broke) and the parents would kill me for buying a 3rd car while i'm in college.

I don't know, i'm still considering buying it so you guys need to talk me into it i guess. I could rattle can it flat black if nothing else and sell it for $800 i guess. Why do these deals have to come at the worst possible time?

 

Hey man, I still kick myself for not buying a 91 Celestial blue CRX w/100k miles.
Perfect body, NO rust, perfect paint and interior, but with an A/T and blown head gasket or broken timiing belt, the guy wasn't sure. But he was firm on the price, he wouldn't budge. $500.00

 

i don't think i'll kick myself for not buying it, but at the same time i think there is a chance for a decent profit to be made here if nothing else.

i ended up grabbin a deal like that a 91 hb si with about150k burns some oil but runs fine after 7k i put on it. power moonroof everything all thats wrong with it is the black siding is gone on one side and the fender has a minor dent, 450$
