I posted this in the ITR forum, where I usually lurk, but this also belongs in here.

Hey all, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Grassroots Motorsports and the first, very successful year of Classic Motorsports, we're throwing ourselves a party in conjunction with the Walter Mitty at Road Atlanta on May 1-2.

GRM and CMS subscribers will be offered greatly reduced admission to the races, and all will be invited to drive Kumho Tires' new MINIs on an autoX course, to compete for prizes, as part of your admission.

We're going to have a number of cool speakers and lots of other attractions set up, CMC has just signed on to build a low-cost Lotus Super 7 replica in two days at the event, I think they'll be using a Miata as the donor car. We're inviting car clubs to come gather in a big car corral, I'm hoping to get as many Honda-Tech-ers there as possible, my Hype R should be among the project cars on display.

Spread the word, check out stuff like the Rotary Spitfire, watch races, meet the friendly GRM staff, and make David and I happy by showing some Honda love.

I always try to hit the Mitty every year. Some of the best old stuff you can find. I LOVE the Can Am cars.

Scott, do we have to buy tickets ahead of time through GRM or is there some way you plan for us to prove we're subscribers at the gate? Renee and I are all over the Mini autocross (assuming it will be held on the instruction course down between turns 6 and 7).

too bad the SEDiv auto-x is the same weekend. I can't turn down driving myself. Next year I'll be there though.
