rear window squirter removal.. need help
My rear hatch is leaking. I already check the side strips on top of the car and had a hell of a time putting them back on but I'd like to remove the rear windows squirter but there is nothing I could find about it in my workshop manual.
How do you remove the damn thing? do you have to take out the inside roof paneling?
Also I have water dripping from the hatch struts.... I've done a search but couldn't pin point where exactly the water comes from.. All I've read says rear window squirter (which doesn't work on my car) or the welds beneath the black striping on the top of the roof.
Please help!

its def not the squirter. mine is shaved. the leaking on the hatchs struts is under the roof weather stripping. use some silcine under them then replace em.
edit: good luck with the squirter. i fucked snapped mine into like 5 trying to get it off and then had to align my roof because i put a dent in it. oops. good thing i was doing all my own work.
if that was leaking it would come in from the dome light.

Thank you.
I pulled up the weather stripping on the roof (both sides) and used some slicone beneath them but it didn't seem like there was anywhere for water to get in. I guess water can get in some very small holes.
The only problem is once I put the striping back it didn't want to seat right and for those of us that are perfectionists it is VERY bothersome when things are perfect!
