I've heard that JDm engines are illegal, so does that make a zc illegal to put in a 91' crx hf?

basicly from what i've heard about smogging, is the main thing the look for is wether or not the motor was offered in the USDM cars. and the ZC was not so that makes it non smog legal. can someone back me on this?

 

I am so sure because I have a ZC in my crx and I have tried!

The ZC is NOT on the replacement engine list in california.

Just drop in the zc and pay a shady shop every time you need a special smog...
