Default B16a slugs on LS rods. . .

I know the type r pistons do not fit without modification, so i'm assuming its the same with B16a pistons. Anyone know the deal?

even with ctr pistons you will have to modify the rods(shave 1mm off the small end of rod) then the piston will fit right on. Any machine shop should be able to do it.

B18C pistons require you to mill the LS rods.

B16A/B17A pistons do not. They fit fine.
