Default Is it really worth it to get exhaust??

I have intake and headers on my94 vtec and i love how it sounds. The only exhaust i was considering to get was the Apexi WS because thats quiet as hell. The problem is...i heard for performance it does pretty much the same as stock. Is it worth paying 385 bucks for the Apexi WS? Do my headers need the aftermarket exhaust to perform better? Any info would help out. id rather spend my money on a body kit or something if i dont get much power or gains out of it.

How many headers do you have on your 4 cylinder? The exhaust will give you more power when you hit VTEC, but it won't really help noticeably under 5500 rpm. If you ever plan on making your car faster get the exhaust now, but more girls will flash you on the strip if you get the body kit.
