Drifting, the dazzling sport-compact car craze that ignited the motorsports world in 2003, is revving up for an even wilder encore when the D1 Grand Prix launches its season on U.S. soil. The stage for Feb. 28's high-octane spectacle, featuring more than two dozen of Japan's best drifters, is again Irwindale Speedway near Los Angeles

The most anticipated event of the year, Round 1 of the D1GP drift grand prix to be held at CA. We will be organizing a huge RSX meet and roll down to the event. Im aiming to break our RSX meet record which is 40 RSXs.

Damn they just keep hosting these events don't they. I remember when I'd be asking myself when they would start doing this in America. Now they have, and it's just a little too much.

agreed, but none the less, its a fun show to go to. this and the Nisei week show are the only 2 i would go to

 

they included Iwrindale as their first round of the official D1GP race, so we'll be seeing them every year
