for starters, i did search and read many threads but none seem to match my scenario

Last week it snowed just enough to be a pain in the ***, and on my way to i started sliding everywhere. got to work fine but once i hit the parking lot, every time i'd slightly tap the brakes, the abs wanted to kick in. even at literally 1mph. no bs, but anyway, i heard a short whining sound for about 10 seconds and that was it. now the abs light is on and hasnt gone off for a few days. what could have happened and whats my next step. i have no problem in getting it cked out but i just would like to hear some feedback on wtf might have happened to cause that. thanks all

Sounds like you may have a bad abs accumulator or seal. If you hear the buzzing sound then its you accumulator trying to pressure up. First thing you need to do is pull the ABS code, by jumping the service connector.

 

the noise isnt constant, in fact ive started the car many times now without hearing that noise. the noise only happened during the incident. and like i said the abs tried kicking in every time i was sliding that morning. very strange i know, but the damn light is on and works including abs seem to work fine
