get an exospeed cam at https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=731077 i think its like 150 or so plus shipping AND you get a cool t-shirt...can't get much cheaper than that especially for a cam

never personally experienced it, but i always hear good things about them...build all motor a6 madness! check out http://www.dh-racing.com for cool motor stuff too

oh wait, you said cheap...what's your price goal? performance goal? good acceleration? good handling? 1/4 mile? track racing? daily driving?

I say get a B-Series, doesn't have to be VTEC equipped, a lightweight car with a B18Aor B18B should haul a lot more *** than a cam in that setup. LS motors are pretty cheap, probably about 600-800. I don't know how much you wanna spend but I have a friend with a B16 in his EF and he loves the thing. Just my opinion though.

well... im looking for some good acceleration, price range wise.. im in between jobs right now so.. real cheap but ill have money soon enough i just want to get some ideas as to what i could do for alittle cheaper. As for a cam.. do you think its worth it since my engine has 138K on it? it does burn some oil and i have a new head gasket but still.. i def. dont have the money for a rebuild or a new engine yet

It's just a d16...and those are really really easy to replace....I'd just spend a couple hundred bucks on a dry nitrous kit and run it till it dies. I've run a 65 shot for over a year on a sohc zc up until the car's demise (result of an elderly man failing to yield) with no problems.
