Default ITR Seats Question

Hey folks, As I understand it the seats in the ITR are Recaro's but are they specificaly made for the ITR or are they a re-trim of a standard Recaro off the shelf seat, I've seen similar looking before but never side by side in real life.

Thanks for your help folks.

Do a search...
USDM seats are NOT Recaros. They are modified versions of the GSR seat (covered in Alcantara, bigger bolsters, softer bottom cushion). JDM R seats are very nice Recaros - similar to the SRD I believe...

No modifications neccessary, you just won't be able to access the seat-back adjusters with the armrest in place -- you'd have to open the door and adjust them from the outside part of the seat.

The JDM recaros only have the rake adjustment on one side whereas the Recaro SRDs have them on both sides. What you need to do to install a JDM Recaro while still retaining the center console is to put the RH seat on the LH and vice versa so you get the rake adjuster on the outside of the seat.

Are you talking about the rear seats? If so, I believe that is true.

or you can put them normally and just go out and buy a jdm center console
i still have my usdm console with my recaros i have it set to the way i want it so no need to further adjust them

JDM ITR recaro's have got to be the most comfortable seats i have ever sat in...they just hold you like a glove. Only if i had $1300. as far as the rear seats...IMHO they are a waste of money

AUSDM get JDM Recaro's standard.

Pretty much an identicle set up as JDM interior wise, except for the 180km speedo.
