Default Gauge Color Change

Is there any way I could change the tach, speedo, temp, and gas gauge that light up blue in my 94 VTEC so they will al light up amber?

It should be possible... the normal choice is blue, which is in fact easier since its not far off from the stock color. If you wanted to go amber, you would have to remove the greenish-blue tinted lens from in front of the fuel/temp gauges and also you would have to scratch off some of the backing on the speedo/tach face insert. Other than that it would be the same process but with a different tinting.
Case in point...

I don't see how you could get them to light up amber... I am not too sure how the VTEC tach/speedo are setup... but the gas/fuel Gage is indigo... this would have to be swapped out with something else because no color mixed with blue makes amber correct.... You have to look at the good ol color wheel to see the colors that you can make it simply by applying a film over. You can change bulbs out for LED's but IIRC there is no amber color LED.. but you could use filters on bulbs... Hope that gives you some insight.

If you want blue, do'nt you have to take the needles and face off to put that blue plastic in?

I wouldn't even screw aroun with the film on anything other than the fuel/temp gage.. Just swap the bulbs out for LED's Much better color IMO..

the needles do not have to come off of the speedo/tach, but the face does. It's not too terribly hard though.

you would probably have to put custom LED's behind there, because 5th gens do not have the EL gauges...
