Default Need Reviews on the APEXI WS(word sport) Exhaust on a 4th Gen Lude VTEC

Whats going on guys? I Need Reviews on the APEXI WS(word sport) Exhaust on a 4th Gen Lude VTEC. I know its really quiet, which is what i want. How are the HP gains? I have intake and headers on my 1994 Vtec right now...and i think exhaust would be the next best thing to do. How much will this exhaust run me about? Do any of you have sound clips of it by any chance? Any info about the exhaust would help out a lot.
Thanks!

I have the Apexi RS (same thing) and yes it's quiet and yes there are gains. You need to understand that almost all exhausts have virtually the same gains. If the piping is larger than stock...you will make power. It has 60mm piping which is a good size. I notice nice mid-range gains, minimal lowend losses. Topend is a little better too. Just find the exhaust that has the looks/sound you like, other than that just check to see if it has the size of piping you want. That's how you should choose an exhaust.

I believe the WS is not a "strait through" design and therefore might not flow as well as a strait through unit. We're only talking a few negligible ponies here. Then again with N/A you do want some back pressure...
It sure is quiet though.

Correct. The quieter exhausts have more sound condensing material and are often chambered mufflers to help quiet them down. You will probably lose a little "peak" power with a "quieter" muffler versus straight through ones like the A'PEXi N1. Exhausts like the N1 are made for racing purposes only though, that's why they are so damn loud, max power is what it is designed for. The "quiet" exhausts are still designed to increase exhaust flow and make power though so don't worry. Just get what's practical for you.

Funny thing, last night this girl I knew was in a parking lot I just pulled into and I got out and she's like "I can't hear your exhaust" Then I go on to tell her at WOT you can

The WS mufflers ARE straight through. There is more packing in the muffler to make it quieter.

a N/A aspriated engine doesn't need backpressure. if the engine could maintain exhaust velocity with no backpressure then you would have the ideal exhaust. as it turns out the easiest way to make velocity is to reduce piping size and therefore increase backpressure. it doesn't need it though.
