im wondering if the alpine CDA-7892 emits amber, i found a great deal on a used one, and wanna buy it but only if it emits amber

 

i dont think any of the newer alpines come with the amber color.

 

couldn't this have gone in the OTHER stereo thread you made?

we have a whole forum for aftermarket stereos, btw..

My Alpine 7894 glows amber. I guess it's about a year old.

 

My Alpine is bright blue.....most of the new ones are anyways

 

Alpine's current lineup (2003) is split about 50/50 between dual green/amber illum and blue. in 2004, most of the heads will be silver faced, and I think that terrible blue is making a comeback...
