Default What wheels? Buddy Club vs. Rota

First of all yes I have searched.

I can get cast buddy clubs and rotas for about the same price for the same look and finish. My question is what rim is better? Does the actual finish look nicer on one or the other? Is one lighter then the other? and anything else you might think is better or worse about these wheels.

Thanks

Before my buddy clubs were stolen, i loved them. I had the P1 Racing SF wheels in Gunmetal and they looked really good. Definately think the finish on the buddy clubs is better than Rotas. I have a friend with slipstreams and the buddy club finish just seemed to be a lot nicer. As far as lightness goes, they are probably roughly the same weight. The Buddy Club QFs (the expensive ones) are really light because they are forged not cast.

here's a site that shows the sizes they come in. I dunno if this is all the sizes or only the ones they carry.

You can get Kosei K1's for pretty cheap ... I guess you'd say they're a copy of the Buddy Club P1's. But, they are available in 15x7 and 15x7.5, which i have.

(yes i'm lowered now btw)

Here are some pics of another car with the same size/color rims.

Just throwin out another idea for you .. but i absolutely love the Buddy Clubs, but these look exactly like P1's, and are pretty cheap on Tirerack.com.

I think they actually do .. the Sticker that comes on them is exactly the same, and the rims are identical.

Be careful tho, my 15x7.5 with a +45 offset rubbed metal on metal in the back lol

Thats such a bad *** pic of the hatch and the tank

I have some Rota slips on my Si, and very happy with the rim, compared to my old Motegi's.
