Default High CR pistons in DC2 ITR for S2st2

Hi,

Im buying Skunk2 Stage2 cams now. I would like to make higher CR in my B18C6 (11.1 stock). Toda pistons are nice but costs 800$. Wiseco is known also as manufacturer of pistons and its much cheaper. I've found 3 Wiseco high CR pistons:
Bore Over size Comp. ratio
81 std. 11.8-12.25
81.5 .020
82 .040

Can someone tell me what is CR in 81.5 and 82 bore? What about this over size? Do I need to do something more with the block when I put 81.5 or 82 ?
I DONT WANT TO DO ANYTHING TO MY BLOCK (Not in my country ) SO I NEED HIGH CR AND NO sleeving or boring (dont know what) in my block. HELP

Any other good high CR pistons?

With the larger bore you'll MUST bore and hone cilinder sleevs and, with the same piston, compression will be higher due the larger bore about:
81.5 - 0,1 point more then 81.00
82.0 - 0,2 point more then 81.00
The larger bore you can go on stock sleevs is 82.00 mm., but i recommend you to use CTR 81.25 oversize pistons to have like stock reliability with 12.4:1 compression.
You might also use CTR pistons in 81.00 bore and only hone the sleevs, but isn't the best solution to have good rings seals.
You'll be better to use a programmable ecu (Hondata- AEM- Motec) to tune the Stage2 cams because i don't believe that VAFC will do the right job.
Good luck.

P.S. I'm going to build your exact setup here in Europe.

So on 81 pistons will make about 12.0:1 CR? What do you recomend - CTR pistons or Wiseco?

yeah, Ill try to make it working on unichip maybe.

they both will work fine with the cams you chose.
just comes down to how much money you're willing to spend.

Then you CANNOT use forged pistons.
Your ONLY choice is to use stock bore CTR pistons.
