Ohlins coilovers?
Since you find them on Realtime's cars, I am pretty sure that they are OK. Just OK though, not like Realtime uses good stuff or anything like that.
My friend had ohlins coil overs on his JDM ITR and IMO theyre fantastic, the ride is so so smooth and not thrashy, theyre 32 (i think) way adjustabe at the top, and the hardest setting is unbareable, there is absolutely no movement and so the car is absolutely 100% solid and near impossible to drive on regular roads!!
There's a HUGE difference between the cheapest Ohlins shocks and the high-end stuff. You need to clarify which you're talking about.
i.e. are you talking about spending several hundred per corner, or a couple thousand?

yeah the g35 is the luxury stop gap till the much awaited R35 comes out,we dont get them in great britian but i know japan and the states get them, pretty much sure it has the underpinnings of the 350z with some mods tail lights, headlamps, front and rear wings e.t.c

R32/R33/R34 = Skyline GT-R AWD coupes ('cept the GT-R 4 door which was available for the R33?) <---the ones we know and love.
But there was a more common "Skyline" available for the general masses (which nobody every really cared about anyway). And the G35 coupe/sedan is a Skyline. Just not the Skyline GT-R. HTH.
"R32" Skyline sedan.

"R33" Skyline sedan.

"R34" Skyline sedan.

Edit - Opps. Sorry for the threadjack.
The Ohlins that Christian had were nice. Very compliant and streetable but they were just the adjustable perch Ohlins (not the threaded body ones).

not to go along with the thread jacking but that is complete BS.
japan will not have a GT-R for a couple of years more..
the g35 sedan as we know it is currently availible right now in japan and is badged skyline.
and about ohlins suspension.. top notch stuff. i think spoon was using them for a while on some of thier race cars...

Opps, ate my words. I was refering to the GTR, just didn't type it
Anyway, suspension wise it depends what you want to use the car for. IMO I wouldn't use high end Ohlins on anything that was going to see alot of street time.
