Default Apexi N1 question about the piping

What is better, the entire Apexi N1 cat-back system or getting the Apexi N1 Muffler and they doing cutom piping? My question is about the performance aspect.

What diameter do you need it to be? 2-1/4"...2-3/8"...2-1/2"?

if you do the piping custom it will be raspier. the Apexi piping sounds better and works better in most cases due to the backpressure being dialed down with the resonators.
