Does anybody know how to solve this problem besides taking the car to a muffler shop?

Will any other exhaust system work on the civic hb?

Nobody had this problem when they did the swap?

 

I am almost done with this swap and there is about a 1 inch gap. I think the only way to solve this is by haveing somebody cut/weld it, or get an integra exhaust later on. I am probably going to just run an open header for a little while.

 

will an LS exhaust fit?

 

Im pretty sure it will, but not 100%sure.
