euro r manifold install question

euro r manifold install question

this is manly directed to 2point6 but i need more info on the holes he drilled and tapped on the flange. why do i need to do this, and what does it do. i am getting the manifold this week.

the bolt holes do not line up, but the ports do. so the solution is to redrill holes for the intake mani studs.
