Its Simple!!
the R I bought had tint on it as well!! I hate it! So you can
1:take a Hairdryer to it,.peel up a tiny corner and start from there.
2:Just start a corner w/ a Razor like above,.and just pull,..

I did 1 window w/ the hairdryer and if you pull too quick it will leave a film still on your window that is a pain-in-the-*** to get off,.so Heat behing the Tint and PULL SLOWLY!
the otehr window I did I just pulled slowy w/ NO HEAT and almost got it all off w/o any of the Film under the tint left on the window!GET a good Flat Razor!!!

hope taht helps,...don't pay to have it taken off!!!!!

cut out trash bags and spray your window down with amonia and then then put the trash bag on the window then let it sit in the hot sun for a few hours. then peel away and don't use a razor on the rear window, use a brillo pad on the rear window and be very careful not to pull off the defroster.

heat gun will work better than a hairdryer if you have access to one

Tempered Glass will shatter w/ a Heat gun from what I've heard!?? Unless you have a low setting on your heat gun,..I wouldn't use 1.

I only like tint on my Rear 1/4 windows,..not the driver/passanger/Windshield.SO The blade worked fine for me!

the 1st window(Windshield banner) Had to go,...It took maybe 9-10mins w/ blowdryer but left alot of that Clear **** when it came off so I spent another few mins scraping that **** off!(Rub Windex,.it will get it wet and kinda peels/scrapes better, not as tacky)

2nd window was the driver side: I used Blow dryer again and it started to come off good,..but left a bit of residue.(took about 10mins in al to get it off)

3rd was passanger and i just started on a corner w/ the blade and started pulling,..but real slow! it took about 5 mins w/o heat!

now the rear windows I left on,..so I don't know about the rear ****? I'd be worried about the defroster as well! Not sure what to do there,..but good luck!

hairdryer will work like said above... but if you are getting them retinted make sure you do a very, very good job because if you dont, most tint shops are going to have to finish off the part you didnt get and charge you for it anyway... i paid 170 to get my windows scraped off and retinted... expensive but worth it since i tried to scrape it off for a few hours and it didnt go very well

oh yeah, you can also use goof off to get the residue off. i use that stuff for everything, removing adhesive from emblems, removing my parking decal sticker every semester, and removing paint from my bumper from running into my back deck

actually i talked with a few places in my area and they said they use a heat gun, but maybe i'll just leave it alone. i have 20%, which measured out like 12% when the cop tested it with his nifty little gauge--*******!

usually if you get all your windows done at the same place they charge like 25$ to get it taken off...i mean its $25 but it saves you the couple hours of doing it plus the fact that if you don't get all the sticky stuff off it can leave horrible air bubbles under your tint ...

not sure what your laws are there, but in the states the legal limit is 50%. i have 20% on my windows, which was sort of a mistake cause i have a decent stack of warnings from the law boys. we dont have inspections with respects to window tint, so i cant say that either will get you passed or not passed.

it varies from state to state... but 20% seems to be the most common for as dark as you can go to still pass state regulations

i just mostly get harrassed by the state highway birds, they pay too close attention..pulled me over once for not having my front license plate on. that is actually illegal here, but hell with it.
