whats the difference between the blue top and the black top injectors? both have 450 insribed on the sides

 

black tops are newer and most likely in better shape.

 

I have the black tops. People tell me the black tops have a figure 8 spray pattern. But who knows..

 

the second generation mitsubishi 450cc/min injectors (Black top) have a better designed spray pattern over the previous first generation (blue top) ones.

So far i haven't been able to tell a difference in drivability between the two in gsx's

 

1st gen blue top / 2nd gen black top either will work just make sure you clean and balance them
