Searched but couldnt find anything since you cant look up 3 letter words like CRX in the search. But anyway What is the Widest wheel you can put on a CRX with out having to get fender flares. This is on a 15" wheel. 15x7.5? 15x8? 15x8.5? 15x9?

I already know everything smaller then 15x7 will work fine. But can I go bigger?

 

well, u could put 8.5 with 205 width tire and prolly not need flare. but with 225 tire, you will. also, it sepends more on the offset of the wheel

 

on my EF hatch, i went with a 15X7 wheel with kumho 712's in 205 50 15, and they rub the rear fenders on the outside alittle bit. going to roll the fenders tomorrow..

 

yea. i have 15x7 and they rubbed. but it was the offset. my 15" steelies didnt rub in the rear. but there like +30something. my other wheels are +43. same tires on both and the +43 rub.

just remove the lip on the inside of that rear fender and you'll be ok.

 

hmm, arnt some running 15x8 or maybe its 13x8 I keep seeing.

 

It's 13x8s you've been seeing. A 15x8 on an 88-91 CRX will require fender modification.

 

Does anyone have pics of 13x8 and maybe the offsets?
