horsepower calculator
friend just e-mailed this to me and thought some of you may like it. i was also hoping that someone that dynoed there car and have 1/4 mile times would see if this is even close to what the real horsepower is.
this is what i got:
Your Integra Type R weighs about 2750 pounds and can complete a 1/4 mile in about 14.8 seconds. That means that you've got about 167.66 HP at the wheels, and about 217.96 HP at the flywheel.
just no dyno to match it up with

Horsepower Results - 1/4 Mile Method
Your Acura weighs about 2650 pounds and can complete a 1/4 mile in about 14.42 seconds. That means that you've got about 174.68 HP at the wheels, and about 227.08 HP at the flywheel.

Seems the WHP is fairly close, but the BHP is way off. I'm sure they are guessing on the efficiency (sp?) of the drive train. FWD is better that RWD for that.
