The 404's and 403's are both good. Crower makes excellent products. Only thing is with those grinds you are going to need Crower's valve springs and retainer sets. They are pretty damn expensive, if you ask me, about the same price as the actual cams themselves.

The 402's don't require them.

i belive the springs are like 200 bucks and the retainers are about 160........kinda pricey but worth it..............

p.s. you dont really need the ti-retainers unless you plan on running the 405's over 9000rpm. the ti-retainers are good to have but not that important with the milder cams (403's and 404's).......

Hey NON-VTEC,
If u don’t mind can I ask you a question. I was looking at your homepage and I’m from Toronto, could u tell me how p&p is. Like did Leitner&bush do a good job? Did they remove the head for u or did you do it your self? Sorry one more question, did you have any problems when they finished your car? I want to p&p my car soon…

Thanks for all your help....

you gotta bring them your head. there a machine shop not a mechanic shop. there work is good. you gotta tell them how you want it ported. if you just drop the head on the counter and say "port it" they will do what ever they want to it. you should TELL THEM that you are running crower cams and valve springs, you plan on using it for drag raceing or road course racing, and what your rev-range is gonna be. for example 3500-7500rpm....... you have to tell them this information and tell them you want the head to perform well with those cams and rev-range......

i had no problem with their work........a little pricey but you get what you pay for......

oh ya if you are seriously going to have the head ported by them tell them to remove all the valve guides and re-install them after the porting is complete or they will just grind the heads of the guides off.........
