Default just crashed my car

Well i just got into a pretty bad accident. It was in my vw jetta( not my 93 hb) i was avoiding a deer and went into a tree. the car looks real bad and ill post pics if i can get my friends digi cam. The block is cracked and the head came off . thank god i was ok. but there is always a positive to any situation and this one is I can buy my wife a ek hatch and prolly get a b18c5 for my eg.
Well just thought i might post this. Be safe and always wear your seatbelt. If i didnt i probally would have died or very injured

In Pa if you don't hit the deer its a bitch to get insurance money because they are like, "Where is the deer".....and its out in the woods enjoying being alive. So hit that ****** next time and the insurance company will have mad proof splattered on your hood/windshield/grill/underbody.....

Yep, it's always better to hit the deer than to try and save it and end up dead in a ditch somewhere.

What's going to hurt more - a 200lb deer or an immovable tree?

I'm glad you're okay, the loss of the Jetta sucks, but you're fully covered there. I've heard hitting a deer is like hitting a brick wall because their muscle structure is so compressed and taut. When I lived in WV, my roommate would get drunk and I would have to drive home he would tell me to square it up and just hit the bitch. I'd rather total the car than hit the tree like someone else said.

Glad you're okay, considering you went full-tilt boogie into a tree.

Good luck with the insurance.

I'm definatly going to keep that in mind. I would WAY rather pound that deer than my face into a guardrail, a tree, or even worse... on coming traffic.
