how to make dash look line new
what could i use on my dash in order to make it look like new. I used some dash cleaner on it before but on the airbag cover it seems like it left some white stuff, anyone know how to get that off, whatever it is. Also what could u use on the door panals in order to get little streaks off(when people it the door with there shoes it leaves that little mark). Thanks for the help.

In terms of shining it up and conditioning it I prefer meguiars to armor all. It is thicker and doesn't seem to dry the vinyl out so much, seems to condition it. If you choose to use this stuff be VERY liberal with it, saturating the surface of the vinyl and letting it soak in for a while, then buffing it clean. Works great without being too unnaturally shiny like so many other products, and like I said earlier, it seems to restore some oils back into the vinyl. Sorry I can't help with minor dings/scratches.

Armorall leaves a film, and if you don't continue to use it, it cracks the dash.
Meguires is better, but still leaves a film on the dash, and collects massive dust bunnys...
I use "water" and Simple green. No film, no shine, no dust. Just straight up clean dash. 6years old, no cracks, no problems, and still looks brand new.

i use 3M's Refresh....not only renews the oils in the dash but cleans out the old ground in dirt (cleaned coke and coffee stains)...also if u like it, they make it a bunch of different scents as well as non-scented...best thing about the Refresh is that it isn't sticky (i even use it on my steering wheel) and will stay on u're dash for a month or so
if u use the Refresh make sure u follow the directions and use a damp rag to apply it.....don't know why but allows it to work alot better

DONT use armor all. It can make your condition of the dash in the long run worse. It used the internal oils of the vinyl compound to provide shine.
Go to car shop or a detail place to get some good stuff. The 3m sounds good. pay at least 10-15 bucks for a good bottle of goo
