Default Delsol's dropped?

Need PICS AND SPRING NAMES from you Soler's. I wanna get ride of my shitty ebay coilovers but i want a good drop, not to little not to much. If you guys could name your spring brand/model and post a pic that would help me out on picking a good set, and some spring opinions wouldnt hurt.

when i bought my sol it had sportlines on it and it looked like this. sorry not very good angles i will try to get better pics and dont mind the interior i didnt do it i am currently changing it out!!!

i ended up going a little stiffer and lower with H&R race springs ( Much happier)

those rims are 16 by 7 with a 38 mm offset and they fit perfect... no rubbing and you get awesome handling on the race springs.

Did you get less bounce from the H&R's? MY coilovers are too damn bouncy but they are stiff too just i guess not stiff enough..

BTW the corners look bad *** i was gonna do that in a couple days to mine.

Heres my Sol on Neuspeed Race springs. The springs have settled a bit since and its a little lower. But you get the idea.

with the h&r's they just get stiffer not really a bounce but stuff on a good bump. cornering and just driving together just feels better on them than the sportlines which felt to cushiony. and they would rool around corners and make me feellike my car was about to roll over or slide out from under me.
all in all they just are alot better springs IMO.

Stiffer spring will make for a bouncy ride. What kind of shocks are you running.

My vote is on custom rated coil over springs.

I don't have a good pic of my Sol but I have DropZone coilovers and DropZone shocks. I have no complaints of them so far. They are not as stiff as Skunk2 coilovers but they aren't bouncy either. Alot of people say negative things about DropZone but I have them and I like them. They are coilovers too so my Sol is slammed. My wheels are 16x7 w/ 205/40/16 rubber with no rubbing.

I've always wondered about Neuspeed Race springs. I bought them for my CRX like 5 years ago and my car still looked like a mini-SUV.

It could simply be that either your shocks are blown or the spring rates of your coilovers are too stiff for the shocks (most likely the case with the stock rears). That will cause bounciness.

"Bumpy" and "bouncy" are two different things, caused by two different factors.

A stiff spring will cause a "bumpy" ride. A shock that doesn't have enough damping for a certain spring with cause a "bouncy" ride.

You should not be using stock shocks with stiffer aftermarket springs.

What he said. yes they are stiff but they dont bounce anything like coilovers do. i am using factory struts but they were brand new ehn i changed the springs and i have no complaints yet i know they will go soon but i didnt have the money at the time of lowering my car to put the new struts in. I can tell you my ride on my sol is better than my ride was on my 00 si with H&R sport drop with tokico blues. for handling sake.

Yea, at first I was kinda unhappy, because it just didn't seem like it was low enough, now that they've settled, it looks good, and i'm happy. I think though for future reference a good set of Coilovers is a good investment if you want the exact drop you want.

Neuspeed sport spring with tokico shocks pictured. I will post pics later this week with it's new suspension. Although i'm not sure if you would want yours as low as it is now!

Tein SS, could go MUCH lower, but don't really need/ want to. Also it's a little lower than it looks, but it's kinda a strange angle and uneven pavement, oh well here ya go :
