We started tonight and got the stock motor out of the civic in about 2hrs. Will post pics of progress and for reference.

Sorry about that the motor is under the kid riding it. I will post pics of the motor in the car sorry.

 

Cool...Is it hard to drop the subframe, or easier with more than 1-2 people.

 

Easy as ****. You might need two people its pretty heavy, but I think you could do it. Prob about 80lbs.

Looks good. K24 motor weighs 90KG bare. 5 speed box is 88lbs

 

I ment the subframe when I said 80lbs it was a guess.

Yes it was in that night we just got excited and drove it around I been busy with a b18c hatch to get pics but I will. Oh by the way changing the shifter to go into reverse was a bitch.

any tips on where to find a type s engine? How much did you pay for yours if you don't mind me asking? Also, if someone were to pay you to do this swap, how much would you ask?

Ryan Duff at Duff Automotive In Middletown Oh did the swap. 513-422-8005.
He will do the complete swap for 5500 in a Si. All you have to do is pic up the car or if you dont live to far away he will deliver. The swap will take about 3-4 tays.

Thanks dude. I have a JDM LSD to go into my DC5-S, but am waiting for warmer weather and of course a JDM flywheel
