2000 DC2 ITR air intake resonator

Is there anything to gain by removing the intake resonator from the guard while running K&N drop in filter in the original airbox?
Pls. advise! Anyone.............

Do a search in the ITR forum. Short answer, you'll lose power and torque.

yeah, since the itr air box is cold air
