where do i take the tranny off to swap the clutch?
hey, where do i take the tranny off on a d series to take the clutch out?
i just cant find my haynes manul and i was wondering do i take it off close tot he end with the 12mm bolts or where there are 17mm bolts that are closer to the motor?
anyhelp would be appreciated alot,

if your asking this question i suggest you find your haynes manual you ll need it or maybe someone in here can send you some pics of the pages
to help you out. and remeber dont trow away that little clutch alligment tool that came with the new clutch, your def gonna need that,also torque down the pressure plate bolts to specs,listed on the manual,and if your flywheel surface seems out of spec def take it to a machine shop to have it resurface usually like 30-50 bucks.

i know, it was a stupid question but its all solved now, first i was going to just take the clutch out of my 91 si tranny but i am going to the shop tomorrow and will probably pick up a stg 2 act, or whatever they talk me into, the flywheel is in great shape but the pressure plate has grooves from the little pins on the back of the clutch plate, ohhwell, all will be solved tomorrow, thanks alot for the help

most definitely.... and don't hammer on your tranny for 2 days before removing the starter either.... that's just not nice

that bolt was my enemy at one time for about 2 hours
