Good news I got my sport lines installed. But i was driving it home and the right rear has this like clunking noise if i go over a ridge or bump. Can i correct this myself and if so just let me know. Thanks
that is crazy man, because i had the same thing 3 years ago when i had my sportlines installed on my 94 accord. when i would exit a driveway type into the road or hit a bump of some sort i heard the clunk sound. it sounded as if something fell off or was loose. i replaced the upper a-arms(oem), the rear struts(oem) and i still continually put white lithium grease on all the bushings in the area(both sides of the car for this stuff). now i will say it doesnt seem as bad, but the noise has subsided. my mechanic friend and i never really pinpointed the exact problem, so i assumed they were settling or just some new stresses on the stock suspension components. i am getting ready to install some new kyb struts which cant hurt. this doesn't help much, but i havent had any problems. the car sits just fine and level, i have autox a few times and everything is fine.
also it will probably be a month or two before i install the new KYBs, but i can IM you and let you know if there are any changes...and keep me posted if you have any more problems or it gets better over time. i havent heard anyone else with this issue, and i will say that i try to take the bumps etc slower just to be nice to her!
I installed mine over a year ago and still have this noise occasionally.I think it's just because the rear springs are progressive and the coils that are close together slap against each other.

well, my friend and i just tightened the top bolt on the strut in the trunk. That helped but the noise is still there now and then. Im gonna see if the spring didnt get snapped all the way into place.

i had that same problem when i first installed my sprint springs on my 5th gen. everytime i would start off at a light or put it in reverse or drive it would do it. it didn't go away until i replaced my factory shocks with aftermarket ones. i believe it was caused by stress on the shocks.

you hit the nail on the head here... my spring coils at top and bottom sit on each other. this creates an occational rebounding clap when I hit a rough road.
