If I could get a 1994 integra engine for a couple of hundred bucks is it worth it to rebuild?
I want to put this engine into a civic and can get it for cheap but the engine has 161,000 miles on it so ill have to rebuild it i think

all you'll need to do is get a new set of pistons/rings and bearings... get some ITR pistons/rings off ebay for like 200 bucks and some ACL bearings for about 100, take the blcok to a machine shop and have them hone the walls and put the new pistons on the rods - about 250 in labor. and you'll have a nice medium/high comrpression LS motor for about 800 bucks (including cost of motor).

A rebuilt non-vtec Integra engine runs about $1000 or less. Must better than taking risk with a use engine.
