I beleive you were the one who was going to run the sidewinder. If so, what made you change your mind to run that one?

Yeah I am the one that was going to. I actually did run it for a while, and it was fine but kinda hard to work under the hood with everything fitting so tight and the heat under the hood was crazy. I really like that manifold and it made my turbo spool like 2500 faster than the new one but I got a damn good deal on this from Danny so I could not pass this up.

Looks like you are running regular rubber couplers from Home Depot?? If they are, I wouldn't recommend running that rubber coupler on the compressor outlet because it'll eventually burst/rip

Always use nitrile rubber or silicone on the outlet

Yeah, it's sometimes difficult to fit the filter in there.

How'd you do it?

Nice car BTW.

Nothing that a new slim line fan wont fix, and when I did have it I should have wrapped the manifold and the dp would have helped me out alot but I was just to lazy to do it.

I plan on running a Sidewinder but am still worried about theunder hood temp problems. I would probably have it jetcoated, but cant stand the look of heat wrap. I have to have a little bling. The mani looks so damn cool, and the heat wrap would ruin that.

The one I sold was jet coated but it still didn't really help with the high heat. The black heat wrap looks pretty coo in my opionion.

I agree because once those cheap-*** couplings heat up they will pop off in a heart beat. DO NOT GET "HOSE TECHNIQUES" COULPLINGS either...They suck!!!! I wasted $65 on mine and they blowed off everytime i boosted (9psi). You can actually get some really good "industrial grade" silicone couplings from supply houses in your area. They are about $1.25/in (length wise) & up depending on the diameter size. I redid all of mine and only ended up paying about $25 for all of the necessary couplings for my setup. Trust me, you don't want to be reclamping a coupling in the middle of traffic with a hot *** engine bay to deal with too.
