HI, I have a 2000 S2000. no accident, low 31000km, like new. going to trade a 92 NSX with 2 accident $14000CND and $19000CND front and left side. but the NSX is only with 77000km. "Tran." need to rebulid. just wondering how much to rebulid the Tran. and is it bad? other than that the NSX is no prob.
do u guy think is a good idea to trade?

Having a little difficulty understanding the content of your question except that you're thinking about trading a S2k for an NSX. With the transmission, will you also be replacing the clutch as well? I just had a new clutch, R&P, and short gears put in and it was a little under 4K total.

Figure out how much your current car is worth, and how much the NSX is worth. That will answer your question.

thanx for urs reply. sorry my English suck cause is my second language.
ya, on black book from the dealer 2000 S2k worth $29000CND or little bit more(good condition) and 92 NSX worth $19000CND(bad condition) $25000 for good condition. That NSX got in 2 accident and need to rebuild Trans. so, I think is about $19000 to $21000.
and do u think $14000 and $19000 damage on the NSX is mean very BAD? cause I know NSX parts is expensive. accident is front. left and right at the back. almost the whole car.

I think buying an NSX that has been crashed and not repaired is a VERY BAD idea, unless you own a professional body shop and you know exactly how much it is going to cost to fix.
Body damage almost always turns out to be lots more expensive than a car's seller estimates. It should be quite obvious why he is not having the car repaired first, before selling it - because it is not worth fixing.
I think buying this NSX would be a big mistake.

Yeh i'd hold onto the S2000 personally, I coudn't afford either but to downgrade to a 10 year old NSX that has ALOT of damage and tranny gone and 2 accidents doesn't seem reasonable to me...
