so I don't knwo why, but the siren doesn't work now...

last night it beeped once when I set it when I got home, and then before I go to bed I just make sure it's set, well I couldnt here it last night as I went to bed so it worried me and today I went to look at it, and it just "clicks" inside the car, the guy that owned the car before me put it in I guess, but there are so many cut wires, and the wiring is just shoved in there anyways... I checked all the wires and everything is hooked up correctly but the siren still doesnt work

Help please...

 

buy a new one or hook up a friends siren to see if that the problem

 

yeah I'm goign to get a new one soon, but I need something now so I can have some piece of mind while I sleep

lol okay I get it now... yeah that would work... but we're moving soon... so my dogs are gone while we show our house... I get paid next friday, looks liek that clifford rsx 3.5 just got put on my list of things to buy

 

so any ideas as to why it wont work, I searched and only came up with like 3 or 4 archived threads that didnt really help

 

Maybe your connections got knocked loose or the siren just finally gave up?? Hell, I know mine sits in my engine bay right beside my turbo manifold, so I bet it takes a beating!

 

I checked all the wires, and well after I looked through the ratnest, everythign was hooked up properly

 

Happened to me so i took it back to the people who installed it and they put in a new siren free.I say take it to a shop that does alarms maybe they can figure out whats wrong.
