Hi-

I'm helping a friend do a fender (Driver Side) install and I was wondering how straight forward it is...or even better if people have a Helm's diagram and instructions/pictures?

Any tips...specific tools...?

Actually, the fender is very easy. What year is the Integra? I have a 97 and it was pretty straight forward. Just unscrew the bolts and it comes right off. It's as simple as that. Good luck.

 

Its okay, hard part is getting the bumper and fender gap small, just be patient.

 

You have to remove the bumper and sideskirt (remove clips and slide FORWARD to get it off), and then just remove the bolts on the fender. The fender liner has to come off, too, or at least the spots where it screws to the fender. When you put the new one on, leave the bolts loose and then close the hood to see how it needs to be adjusted, then tighten the bolts.

 

somebody help me, i am taking off my fender to do a jdm conv, and i have removed all fender bolts except the ones under the side skirts, and i have removed all the side skirt screws that i can see...now i thought it should just slide off, but there is something i am not doing obviously, somebody post something, thanks

 

slide it towards the front of the car to get it off.

 

i will try again, but it is just not coming off

 

should be 6 plastic retaining clips securing it, make sure they are all out.

 

got em all, but it just won't budge an inch, i am about to rip the POS off

 

you might have to pull down slightly on the rear end of the sideskirt as you push it forward.

im about to install a fender - how many bolts are there to take off? anyone have a diagram? TIA

 

2 on the bottom behind side skirt.
1 under wing mirror
3 on fender inside engine bay
then the ones holding to the front bumper.

 

Super easy. Took me about a half hour. Getting the alignment is the longest part of the process. I had to stick a small washer where the bolt is on the upper part of the door jamb. Once you get into it its pretty easy to see. Good luck

Also, after the bumper comes off, there is a brace bolted between the fender and the subframe, so don't forget to remove that one.
