Hey do any of you know if the Mugen twin loop exhaust on ek hb will fit with the comptech rear sway bar/tiebar. The comptech site says some exhausts wont fit.

id say no and thats with about 90% confidence. this is for the EG hatch of course. but i would be willing to say the same for the EK

the area from the rear bumber to the LCA is xtremly short on the EK and EG this is why most exhaust wont fit. i have seen the twin loop befor and i think its over 10 inchs which is the longest a muffler can be to fit on a eg with a sway bar.

you might be able to get away with doing a custom hanger and pipe setup

 

Hey guys i found out from comptech that the mugen TL exhaust will fit. One of the guys from there told me he had a mugen TL on his 97 hatch with the comptech swaybar tie bar set up. But i think he had just the Axel back. I wanna get the mugen full cat back for ek9 so i still dont know if this will clear or not. Anyone know if the axel back for the EK will be the same as the full catback for the ek9. like the muffler size and all that.
