im planning on running my car with 2.5" diameter piping, 2.5" header, b-pipe, muffler, from the header all the way to the exhaust and im wondering how it would sound with a resonator in place.

im thinking of running with a long resonator or 2 shorter pieces sincei dont want the setup to be too loud. does anyone have a sound clip of this setup?

what kind of muffler do you plan on running? if you plan on running a straight through design go with a larger resonator. If you are going to be running something else go with 1 small resonator.

 

es oval by magnaflow. im thinkinking between the straight through one or the one witht the offeset design

if this is the muffler, I would like to hear as well. Because I have the same setup (2.5" all the way, 22" resonator, magnaflow es oval muffler, jun header) and its loud as hell its freaking annoying and I'm pissed.

its a chambered design

 

i have 2 3/8 with a resonators sounds a lil louder than stock until vtec kicks sounds good

 

sound clips would be greatly appreciated

 

Don't get that chambered muffler.

I'm running a full 2.5" exhaust with a 2.5 carsound cat, 14" magnaflow resonator, and magnaflow es oval muffler.
I think it sounds really good, but I'm also turbo so it quiets it down a little.

I would imagine this set up on an N/A car would be slightly annoying, but nothing too offensive.

 

yeah na. im all for power but i dont want the added attention and noise.

 

im runnin a 2.5'' exhaust with just a resonator and no muffler...sounds prety good not too loud but thats also bc the turbo quiets it down...it sounds suprisingly deep for a honda
