Default infamous honda idle...noooooooooooooooooo!

i have a EK and my engine is throwing code 14
my idle is funky, it goes upto 1500 then bounces back to a grand cause i think its like the ecu is governing the idle to 1500...so i wanted to check if this was it so i changed the idle setting to about 3000 rpm, and i was right, it goe supto 3000 at first then it drops to 1500..but weirdly it goes back up to 3000 in a few minutes...
i pulled the tps plug and the idle was fine, none of the pulsing at 1500rpms...but ofcourse cant rev past 3000

the work i did is..
i swapped in a worked itr bottom end, a gsr head, im using the gsr ecu
i also swapped from automatic to manual

man i want to get this done
any help would be awesome... please!

notes that might help:
1. for some reason my heating doesnt work anymore..i cant even move my little temp setting to the right anymore...it just bounces back to about 2/3 to the right
2. when im really on the gas, like gunning it at 6 and 7 grand, and i just drop it in neutral, the car sometimes dies, or just goes down to like 100rpm about to die, sometimes comes back up, sometimes stalls.. but i think thats the fuel pump, my friend has same problem and walboro 255 fixed it up right...

please help!

your "funky" idle could be caused by something as simple as air bubbles in your coolant or a dirty iacv...as far as the stalling i would try upgrading your fuel pump

You zip tied something doing electronics trying to hide the wires...
Or a wire running inbetween the control lines/levers.... Been there...

I believe a code 14 is for iacv so either its a bad wire, bad iacv, or dirty iacv.

no, I had no cel, just a surging idle

the iacv is on the back of the intake manifold
it has a black cylider on the side of it and has 2 coolant hoses as well.
connected w/ 2 bolts
(at least this is all true on my y8)

your cel could be caused by your fuel pump problem, have you checked the code yet?
