EK headunit in a EG......is it plug and play?

EK headunit in a EG......is it plug and play?
anyone know if a ek gathers headunit will plug into my eg wire harness ?..does anyone know from experience? i dont want people saying i know a guy who said it will..i want 100% sure answers

I have plugged in a '97 prelude CD player in my old EG. Honda used the same plugs in most if not all cars from 92-97 at least. But I do know for sure that the plugs in a 99+ Honda do not match. I can't remember if they switched the plugs in 98 or 99. Hope this helps.
