distributor question

i was wondering if i can use LS distributor internals (coil, ignitor etc..) to rebuild a GSR distributor?

yes and no, LS still have atleast two manufacturers of distributors TEC and Hitachi, then you need to see who made the GSR's. if same I think then you can swap, compare parts should like identical.
